Grocery bags are available in the back of the sanctuary for you to take and fill with non-perishable foods. For your convenience, there is a list of some needed foods attached to the bags. Please bring your filled bags to worship with you on Sunday, November 24th. All bags will be collected at the altar during the sing-ing of our opening hymn on that day.
Fresh, beautiful fruits & vegetables (ex. eggplant, pomegranates, squash, pumpkins, pineapples, apples) are needed for the horns of plenty which will adorn the altar on Thanksgiving Sunday, Nov. 24th. Beth Paolero has graciously volunteered to arrange these gifts, so please help her by bringing your contributions to church no later than Saturday morning, Nov. 23rd. You may take your donations back after worship on the 24th.
We extend an invitation to the congregation and their neighbors to host our Epiphany Box, with “camel visitors” for a 24 hour period through the Advent Season. We will welcome the Epiphany Box and its intrepid beasts of transportation on January 5th during the worship service.
The children & youth of Calvary will present “A Traditional Christmas Pageant”
on Sunday, December 15th during the 10:30 worship service.
